Digital Design and Graphic Arts

Utilizing Mac's and Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) design products, students will study design theory (Principles and Elemental) advancing towards the creation of a wide array of graphic and visual communication projects.  The program includes hands-on training and use of different digital technologies and operations: large format printers, screen printing, large multi-function digital printing presses, vinyl cutting and heatpress and embroidering machines.

Students enrolled in this program will meet the CTE Concentrator status for graduation over the course of one academic year by completing the following courses:
  • 7140 - Principles of Digital Design
  • 5550 - Graphic Design & Layout
  • 7141 - Digital Design Graphics

Open to: Grades 11 and 12
Eligible Certifications: PrintEd Certification

Juniors who complete curriculum in an exemplary fashion may be eligible to apply to return to complete the capstone for this program.  It is NOT required or guaranteed.
