Nicole Otis from the CANI–Lake County Tobacco-Free Coalition has officially partnered with Hammond Central High School to take a strong stand against commercial tobacco and vape use. As part of this initiative, Nicole has successfully trained school staff in evidence-based prevention and cessation education. This collaboration marks a powerful step forward in equipping educators with the tools to support students in making healthy, informed choices—and fostering a tobacco-free future for our youth.
