College courses taught to high school students are referred to as Dual Credits since students receive high school and college credits simultaneously.  The Area Career Center strives to offer college credits to all students in all programs. The career center currently utilizes Vincennes University or Ivy Tech Community College as dual credit partners.  One major benefit to the student is that there is NO COST!  The University/College is chosen based on what college courses best align to our high school courses.  Instructors must be approved in advance of offering the courses (generally the year prior). 

Students must complete the online dual enrollment form for the corresponding dual credit partner to start the process.  This online enrollment form is not the same as the form necessary to be admitted to the school (upon graduation).  The deadline for completing this process is SEPTEMBER 1ST.

Dual credit courses should appear on the student's high school transcripts however, if the student needs an official transcript they must contact ITCC or VINU directly.
