Welcome to the School City of Hammond's staff wellness page. The purpose of this page is to provide the families of our students with information about out policies and resources available through our office.

A Message from the Director:
The Health Services Department is comprised of Registered Nurses (RN's) and health aides. Every Hammond school has a Registered Nurse who coordinates and delegates all of the care needed. Registered Nurses in Hammond's schools help to ensure that students are healthy and ready to learn. In addition to first aid and emergency care, school nurses conduct a regular program of health screening to identify conditions that can adversely affect learning, including vision and hearing testing, heights and weights and dental inspection. School nurses also keep immunization records and monitor student health to help prevent the spread of communicable disease. School Nurses work in partnership with physicians to establish Healthcare plans and render care to children with Chronic Diseases.
