Pioneer News & Announcements - 05/23/2013:
• There will be no school on Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. Have a great three day weekend, everyone!
• Senior End of Year Activities: ~Thursday, May 30th - 8:00AM: Senior Honors Assembly Practice (*Seniors meet in the auditorium.) ~Thursday, May 30th - After Practice: Senior Field Day ~Friday, May 31st - 8:00AM - Senior Honors Assembly (*Seniors meet in the cafeteria. With caps and gowns, line up and walk as a collective group to the auditorium.) ~Friday, May 31st - After Assembly: Senior Group Picture With Caps and Gowns ~Friday, May 31st - After Picture: Senior Luncheon ~Monday and Tuesday, June 3rd and 4th: Senior Finals ~Wednesday, June 5th - 12 NOON: Graduation Practice at the Pavillion (*Currently enrolled seniors will walk as a group to the Pavillion at 11:45AM) ~Wednesday, June 5th - 7:00PM: Graduation at the Pavillion (*Students and faculty need to line up at 6:00PM.)
• On Friday, May 31st, Clark will be participating in the "Paint the Town Pink" event sponsored by the Whiting/Robertsdale Chamber of Commerce. Wear a pink shirt by donating $1 to this worthy cause. Click here for more information.
• Summer School Applications are now available. Clark will be offering Credit Recovery for $75 during the summer. When you receive an A or B, your $75 will be refunded after summer school is finished. You may take as many classes as you can finish. A remediation option is also available for $25. When you complete summer school and retake your ECA, your $25 will be refunded to you. Students must provide their own transportation to and from summer school. Summer School runs from June 10 through July 31 from 8:00AM to 11:00AM. See your counselor for these great opportunities. Summer school is on a first come, first serve basis, so hurry!
• It’s time to order your High School Yearbook! See Ms. Mahmet in the library for an order form. You may pay with cash, check or money order made payable to Clark High School for $35.00. Yearbooks will be available for pick up sometime in the middle of September. Also, if any one is interested in buying a Middle School Yearbook from this year (or previous years: 2008, 2009 and 2012), please see Ms. Ruano in Room 121.
• To help raise money for the yearbooks, the yearbook staff is selling Blue and White Bracelets for $1! Click here to see the bracelets and for more information.
• Clark Middle/High School will be having English as a Second Language Classes from June 4th to July 11th on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5-7:00PM. Click here for more information. |
