Program Listings and Descriptions


Auto Technology Learn the technical and mechanical skills necessary to adjust, repair, and overhaul automobiles and individual component systems including theory, computerized diagnostics, and high engine performance.

 

Collision and Refinishing Technology Learn the skills necessary for entry-level employment in repairing, repainting, and refinishing vehicles. Includes study of structural analysis and repair, metal refinishing, industry standards, and technical detailing.

 

 

 

 

Computer Information Technology Learn how to install, troubleshoot, maintain and configure, computers, servers, networks and peripherals.

 

 

Construction TechnologyLearn basic construction concepts and fundamentals from building layout to finish carpentry, also including instruction on basic plumbing, electrical, masonry, and concrete work.

Cosmetology Learn proficiency skills in beauty culture within a clinical settings including cutting and styling hair; waving, relaxing and coloring hair; applying make-up; and caring for skin, scalp, hands and feet.

Criminal Justice and LawLearn about the criminal justice system and law enforcement as it applies to monitoring, enforcing and resolving laws and regulations.

 

 

 

Culinary and Pastry Arts and SciencesLearn preparation for a professional career in culinary & pastry arts, hospitality and management. Learn strategies in all areas of food preparation, sanitation, inventory, nutrition, customer relations and management.

Dental AssistingLearn the technical skills in dental materials, chairside assisting, patient preparation, office tasks, lab duties, and assisting the dentist or dental hygienist.

Digital Imaging and DesignLearn many aspects of the global printing industry from the initial idea through the design stages, layout, and production using the latest printing techniques and technological advances in today's publishing world. Students may specialize in desktop publishing/graphics design, web design, offset printing operations, or screen printing operations.

Early Childhood Education Services Learn skills for working with children from birth to age six through observation, study curriculum, nutrition, developmentally appropriate practice, child development, and experiences with children.

 

 

 

 

Entrepreneurship Academy Learn how to plan, prioritize, and produce business applications in a simulated business environment using computerized electronic technology.

 

 

 

 

Health Careers Learn the foundational skills needed for a career in the health care field including the fundamentals in anatomy, physiology, wellness, illness and professional standards.

 

 

 

 

Industrial Maintenance/WeldingLearn proficiency in entry level industrial maintenance skills including how to perform the Shielded Metal Arc Welding (Stick), Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG), Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), Oxy-Acetylene Welding and Cutting, Plasma and Airarc Cutting skills.

 

 

Multimedia Broadcast Academy Students will explore all the editing and production skills necessary to produce television and radio broadcasts as well as Internet and interactive media for webcasts, podcasts and digital productions.
